Frequently Asked Questions
How often is report data updated?
Reports pull data in real-time from your database. When you generate a report, it reflects the latest information including any changes made moments before. There is no delay or caching.
Can I see reports for previous years?
The maximum date range is "Last Year" (365 days). For data older than one year, you would need to adjust your analysis or contact support for assistance with historical data access.
Why do some revenue numbers differ from my bank deposits?
Revenue reports are based on invoice data recorded in RAD Repairs. Differences may occur due to payment processing delays (especially for credit cards), pending checks, or payments not yet recorded in the system. The Sales Report shows both collected and outstanding revenue to help reconcile.
How do I compare periods?
The Revenue Analysis report includes a period-over-period comparison that shows current vs. previous period revenue with growth percentage. Generate reports for different periods separately if you need more detailed comparisons.
Where do I find the reports?
Reports are located in Admin Settings, under the Reporting section at the top of the page. Click Admin in the sidebar, then scroll to the Reporting card to access all report generation options.
Why are my technician performance numbers low?
Ensure technicians are being properly assigned to tickets. The Technician Performance report tracks tickets where a technician is assigned. Unassigned tickets appear under "Unassigned" in the report.
Can I share a report with someone?
Reports are generated as PDF files that download to your device. You can share these PDF files via email or any file-sharing method.
What referral sources are tracked?
The Referral Analytics report tracks built-in sources (Google, Facebook, Yelp, Instagram, Word of Mouth, Website, Other) as well as any custom referral sources you've configured in your system.
