Reports & Analytics

RAD Repairs has two reporting systems: the Reports page - a set of ready-made RMM fleet reports plus a custom Report Builder with scheduled email delivery - and the business reports in Admin Settings for revenue, tickets, customers, and technician performance.

Where to find them: The Reports page is in the main sidebar (requires the view reports permission). Business reports live in Admin Settings under the Reporting section.

The Reports Page

The Reports page includes ten ready-made reports covering your managed fleet - hardware, policies, activity, security posture, remote access coverage, and backups. Every report can be viewed on screen and exported as CSV (for spreadsheets) or PDF (for sending to customers).

Available Reports

Report What It Shows
Asset Audit Detailed inventory of managed assets: hardware, OS, status, and metadata. Includes a column picker so you choose exactly which fields appear.
Asset Aging Managed assets grouped by OS install age brackets - great for spotting machines due for replacement.
Applied Policy Which RMM policy governs each asset, and whether it was assigned directly, via folder, or via customer.
RMM Summary by Customer Per-customer fleet metrics: devices, online rate, alerts, tickets, and backup health.
Customer Executive Summary Client-facing scorecard with a health score, coverage, alerts, tickets, and backups - ideal for quarterly business reviews.
Asset Activity Audit Chronological log of script runs, alerts, and enrollments (31-day maximum window).
Remote Access & Backup Coverage Per-customer deployment coverage for RustDesk, ScreenConnect, and Comet Backup.
Software Inventory Installed software across managed endpoints with version and publisher (collected by agent v1.7.0+).
Missing Patches by KB Which Windows updates are missing across the fleet, grouped by KB number with severity and affected devices.
Vulnerable Systems At-risk assets ranked by missing critical/important patches and check-in staleness.

Running a Report

1

Pick a Report

Click Reports in the main sidebar and choose a report from the list on the left.

2

Set Parameters

Depending on the report, you can filter to a specific customer, choose a date range (for the Asset Activity Audit), and pick which columns to include (Asset Audit).

3

View and Export

Results display on screen with summary stats and a data table. Use the export buttons to download the report as CSV or PDF.

Report Builder

The Report Builder (linked from the Reports page) is a visual, drag-and-drop designer for your own branded PDF reports — for example, a monthly "Managed Services Summary" you send to every managed customer. Everything previews live as you build, and the finished PDF carries your logo and accent color, a cover page, and page numbers.

Building a Report

Click + New in the Templates panel, give the report a name, then drag elements from the left palette onto the canvas. Click any element to edit it in the properties panel on the right. Available elements:

Drag an element onto the right half of another to place them side by side — up to 3 cards across a row. A control in each card's header returns it to its own row. Click Save when you're done, or Clone to base a new report on an existing one. The Cover page checkbox toggles the branded title page.

Scope & preview

The Preview / run for selector at the top sets what the report covers and drives the live previews. Leave it on All customers for a company-wide internal report, or search for a customer to scope the report to just their data. Set the date range there too. Click Run → PDF to generate the report.

Scheduled Email Delivery

Any saved report can be emailed automatically. In the Scheduled Delivery card, choose the template, a frequency (weekly or monthly) and day, and one of these Send to targets:

Click Add Schedule to save it; existing schedules are listed below with their target, timing, and when they last ran. Schedules are processed by a daily job each morning. Deleting a template also removes its schedules.

Set-and-forget client reporting: Build a "Monthly Executive Summary" report once, add a monthly schedule targeting your Gold-plan customers, and every one of them automatically gets their own professional PDF each month — no manual work.

Business Reports (Admin Settings)

In addition to the fleet reports above, RAD Repairs includes eight business reports generated as PDFs from the Reporting section of Admin Settings. All business reports support:

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the Reports page and the Admin Settings reports?

The Reports page covers your managed RMM fleet (assets, policies, patches, backups, activity) with on-screen results and CSV/PDF export, plus the Report Builder for custom client-facing templates. The Admin Settings Reporting section generates business PDFs about your shop itself - sales, tickets, customers, technicians, and locations.

Who can access the Reports page?

Users whose role includes the view reports permission. Adjust role permissions in Admin Settings > User Management.

How often is report data updated?

Reports pull data in real-time from your database when you run them. RMM data (hardware, software, missing patches) is refreshed by each agent's hourly sync, and backup status is polled every 30 minutes.

Can I send a report to a customer automatically?

Yes. Build a template in the Report Builder, then add a weekly or monthly schedule with the customer and recipient email addresses. The report is emailed automatically as a PDF attachment.

Why is the Asset Activity Audit limited to 31 days?

The activity audit compiles script runs, alerts, and enrollments into a chronological log; the window is capped at 31 days to keep the report fast and focused. Run it monthly if you need a continuous archive.

Why do some revenue numbers differ from my bank deposits?

Revenue reports are based on invoice data recorded in RAD Repairs. Differences may occur due to payment processing delays (especially for credit cards), pending checks, or payments not yet recorded in the system. The Sales Report shows both collected and outstanding revenue to help reconcile.

Why are my technician performance numbers low?

Ensure technicians are being properly assigned to tickets. The Technician Performance report tracks tickets where a technician is assigned. Unassigned tickets appear under "Unassigned" in the report.

What referral sources are tracked?

The Referral Analytics report tracks built-in sources (Google, Facebook, Yelp, Instagram, Word of Mouth, Website, Other) as well as any custom referral sources you've configured in your system.
